I'm writing with a great news! I have moved to a village for summer and here is much more easier to eat healthy, though there is just a small variety of healthy raw/vegan products in the shops... Anyway, I want to share with you something I tried few days ago. IT WAS PERFECTLY DELICIOUS! My husband loved it too.
BANANA ICE CREAM!!!! :)
I saw this ice-cream many times on different websites, but I had never made it by myself, so as it became really hot here and we dramatically needed ice-cream I understood - it's time to see what these bananas can do. And I was surprised how easy it is and how many different options you can choose!
First time I was making banana ice cream with cinnamon and crunched chocolate cookies on top. It was really good! But as I love chocolate, I was wondering if I can make banana - chocolate ice cream? And the answer is YES, and very tasty, tho.
Ingredients for 2 servings
4 ripe frozen bananas
2 tsp brown sugar
3 tsp cacao powder
1 tbsp hot water
Method:
1. Cut banana into 5-6 pieces and put all of them into freezer for at least 2 hours.
1. Melt brown sugar in 1 tbsp hot water, add cacao powder and mix everything. Set aside to cool.
2. Put frozen bananas to the blender and blend them until smooth, add cacao syrup and mix again.
That's it, 5 minutes and you have your homemade healthy vegan ice cream :)
